UPDATE 8:10pm: The Ministry of Health has added two further locations of interest for the Tauranga region this evening.

Anyone who visited the Te Puke Liquor Spot on Thursday December 16 and December 17 from 6-9pm are advised to Self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for 10 days after you were exposed.

If symptoms develop, get a test and stay at home until you get a negative test result.

EARLIER: The Ministry of Health has added several new locations of interest for the Tauranga region.

The Mount RSA has been identified as a close contact location and people who were there on December 15, 20, 22 and 24 are being advised to self-isolate immediately. See below for more details on the latest locations of interest.

This comes after four people were reported to be in Tauranga Hospital with Covid-19 on December 26.

The Ministry of Health says there has also been Covid-19 detection in wastewater in Te Puke in Samples taken on December 22 and 23.
