What‘s on Today? Summer Carnival

The carnival is being hosted at Memorial Park in Tauranga.

Good morning sunners. It may look a little grey outside, but there is still plenty of things to do in Tauranga.

The Summer Carnival is back at Memorial Park and will be open from 6-10pm (weather dependent).

People will be able to enjoy thrill & fun rides for everyone, featuring the Turbo Boost, Hurricane, Flying Dragons, Round Up, Dodgem Cars, Tea Cups, Rockin Tug & more. Plus all your favorite carnival games & Fairground food

Organisers of the event say it will be operated under the new 'Covid Traffic Light System”, and everyone over the age of 12 will be required to produce their My Vaccine Pass for scanning on entry

* Operated under Traffic Light requirements that will include social distancing, hand sanitizer, Compulsory Vaccine Passport for entry, QR code scanning, limited numbers per session.

* Mask wearing to be mandatory upon entering.

* Mandatory scanning of QR code or manual sign in upon entry.

* Limited Entry numbers for each session to ensure social distancing.

* Free entry – Operating under a site capacity limit then a one in one out policy. We appreciate your understanding if the site is at capacity.
