Two more close contact locations of interest in the Western Bay of Plenty have been announced by the Ministry of Health.

Anyone at the Te Puke Bowling Club on Tuesday, December 28 between 8.15am - 5 pm is being advised to self-isolate, test immediately and on day five after being exposed at this location.

The other close contact location is St Thomas More Church on Gloucester Road in Mount Maunganui.

People who attended the church on Sunday, December 26 between 8.am - 10.30 am need to to self isolate and test immediately, as well as on day five.

The ministry says further isolation and testing requirements will be provided by Public Health.

People who have visited a close contact location are asked to record their visit online or call Healthline so contact tracers can get in touch.

Two other close contact locations of interest have been announced in the wider Bay of Plenty this afternoon.

People who were at Cayman's Sports Bar Kawerau on Sunday, December 26 between 2.15pm - 10pm and Monday, 27 December 11am - 6pm a required to self isolate and follow pubic health advice.

Visitors to The Comm Bar and Restaurant in Whakatane between 11.15 am - 2.30 pm on Monday, December 27 must also self-isolate.
