The Tauranga Fringe festival is happening today from 10am to 5pm at Tauranga Historic Village. The public will be able to visit the working studios of artists based in the village, and stay for a whole day of events, music and markets. Under the traffic light system, Covid-19 vaccination certificates will be checked on entry. Entry to the all-date event is $10 and under-14s can attend free of charge.

Pepi Toot is out and about today at Mount Maunganui. Leaving from outside Spongedrop Cafe in Salisbury Ave, the train takes in local views of both beaches as well as Mount Mainstreet. Pepi Toot operates from 10am - 2pm.
