Four shops at Bayfair Shopping Centre have had glass cabinets and doors smashed during a burglary spree early on Saturday morning.
A SunLive reader at the centre on Saturday reports that jewellery shops at Bayfair appear to have been raided.
"Smashed glass everywhere. Michael Hill and Pascoes - both shut until further notice. All the smashed cabinets at Michael Hill, and glass on the floor. The Pascoes security door smashed in."
Police received a report of a burglary at Bayfair Shopping Centre shortly before 3am on Saturday morning.
"Four stores were broken into by a group of offenders and a number of items, including jewellery, were taken," says a Police spokesperson.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and no arrests have been made at this stage.
