Reports are coming in of a jack-knifed trailer blocking Taikitimu Drive.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says the northbound lane of the highway is completely blocked.

The crash is reported to be between the Waihi Road over ramp and Elizabeth Street.

Google's Live Traffic Reporting shows traffic stalled in the area.

A police spokesperson says a trailer is reported to have gone into a side rail and is blocking one lane.
