A person has been critically injured following a serious crash in Omokoroa.
Emergency services have been responding to a crash between a motorbike and a car at the intersection of The Esplanade and Omokoroa Road in Omokoroa.
The crash occurred about 2:50pm.
"One person has been critically injured," says a Police spokesperson.
Police say that traffic management has been put in place and the Serious Crash Unit is attendingthe scene.
Motorists should avoid the area or expect delays.
