A body has been found in a bay near Coromandel on Saturday morning.

Police were called at around 8.40am on Saturday following a report of a body located at Wyuna Bay, Coromandel.

The body is yet to be formally identified.

Police are continuing enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death.
