Roller Mills positive despite loss

Bay of Plenty's representative Roller Mills team travelled to Auckland at the weekend for their first regional game.

Despite losing to a strong Auckland West team at Suburbs Rugby Club in New Lynn 6-1 the team remains positive about the season.

Coach Barry Ririnui says teamwork and fitness are two essential elements that go hand in hand with rugby.

He says the weekend game was a good test of this team's fitness and skill, in preparation for the end of term tournament.

The team of 25 players was selected from across 10 teams who competed in the annual regional Tai Mitchell Rugby tournament.
