On 2 September 2022 aged 89 years.

Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Carole for 63 years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Stephen, Sonia, Wendy, Keith and Robin. Much loved granddad of Daniel, Thomas, Van-Anthony, Georgia, and Anna-Marie and proud great granddad of Nuna.

After a short illness Merv sadly passed away surrounded by his family. He was a man of the land and will be sadly missed and remembered always.

A service for Merv is to be held at Tauranga Park, 383 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga on Wednesday 7 September at 11.00am.
