Police are appealing to the public to help find Christopher Morrison, who has been reported missing from the Waitakaruru area in Waikato.

Morrison, 65, was last seen on September 1.

Police say they and his loved ones have concerns for his welfare.

He usually frequented the area around the canal near the township, however, he could have travelled further throughout the region, says a police spokesperson.

Anyone who has seen him or knows about his movements is urged to contact police quoting file number 220904/7539.
