Passed away at home on 22 September 2022 surrounded by his family.

Incredible and adored husband of Stefanie (Stef). Dearly loved father of Toby, Luke and Sophie. A very special son of Cecily and Kelvin and oldest brother of Micheal, Matthew, Daniel and Debbie.

His courage, humour and love for Biology will be remembered and cherished by us all forever.

Romans 8:38-39 "For I am sure that neither death nor life ... nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord".

Our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful GP, the doctors and staff from Canopy Cancer and the Hospice nurses.

In preference to flowers a donation to Waipuna Hospice may be made in Richard's memory.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Richard's life to be held at St Peter's in the City, 130 Spring Street, Tauranga on Thursday 29 September 2022 at 11:30am followed by a private interment.
