Lotto player wins $1 million

A lucky Lotto player from Northland will be jumping for joy after winning $1 million with Lotto First Division in Saturday night's live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto.

Powerball was not struck on Saturday evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $12 million.

Meanwhile, a lucky Strike player from Christchurch will also be celebrating after winning $300,000 with Strike Four. The winning Strike ticket was sold at Stanmore New World in Christchurch

Eleven lucky Lotto players will be celebrating after each winning $24,994 with Lotto Second Division in Saturday's live Lotto draw.

One lucky player also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $43,189. The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was on MyLotto to a player from Auckland.
