A rubbish truck has ended up on the bonnet of a car in a Tauranga cul-de-sac.
A SunLive reader reports that an EnviroWaste truck has rolled onto a black Honda Accord while turning at the end of Redmond Street in Judea.
The incident happened at around 12.15pm.
The end of the cul-de-sac has a parking area which is lower than the other part of the road.
Police say they were not advised of the incident.
A tow truck was called from Rowe Motors and the damaged car was taken away.
"We're thankful no one was hurt and an investigation into the incident is underway," says a Tauranga City Council spokesperson.
