The Summer Concert Tour is again proving to be one of New Zealand's favourite summertime experiences, with Greenstone Entertainment announcing the sell-out of the Taupo Summer Concert, the first of the upcoming three-date tour taking place in early February.
Four massive international artists – each a headlining act in their own right – and starring ZZ Top, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Stone Temple Pilots and The Angels - will perform in front of a sell-out crowd at the Taupo Summer Concert on Saturday, February 4.
This will be followed a day later with the Whitianga Summer Concert in the Coromandel on Sunday, February 5, and culminating with the tour's final show at the Gibbston Valley Winery Summer Concert in Queenstown on Saturday, February 11.
Tickets for both the Whitianga and Queenstown shows are still available, although with just a couple of weeks to go, are also selling quickly.
'The Taupo Summer Concert sell out demonstrates how much our fans love not just the amazing line up of artists we bring to our shores, but also the unique afternoon atmosphere and experience that some of New Zealand's most idyllic summer holiday locations provide," says Greenstone Entertainment CEO, Amanda Calvert.
"Summer just isn't summer without the Summer Concert Tour and we want to thank everyone for their incredible support and encourage those still thinking about coming to the Whitianga or Queenstown show to grab them now."
