Rain and flooding has caused a slip on a road in Te Puna.

A SunLive reader is reporting that the slip on Wairoa Road is mid way between the Crawford Road intersection and the end of Wairoa Road.

One lane has been coned off along the centre line, with the other lane still in use.

Wairoa Road is flooded at the river end of the road near the Bay of Plenty Coast Rowing Club and Carters Sawmill.
