Two people are facing aggravated robbery charges after allegedly robbing Fernland Spa in Tauranga.
Police received a report of a robbery at a premises on Cambridge Road, Bethlehem about 1am.
Two offenders fled the scene in a stolen vehicle, says a police spokesperson.
"Police did not initiate a pursuit and instead monitored the vehicles progress.
"Road spikes were deployed and the vehicle was brought to a stop.
"No injuries were reported.
"Two people were taken into custody and charged with aggravated robbery."
A scene guard was in place at the premises overnight.
Enquiries are ongoing.

Agravated robbery. Didn't think they sold smokes or alcohol & most entry would be paid by eftpos so wouldn't be alot of cash. What dummies or am I missing something
