Update, 4.50pm: A SunLive reader says the road is now cleared following an earlier crash on the intersection of Fraser Street and Seventeenth Ave.
"The power company is still there," says the SunLive reader.
"The power pole is still on a lean. We have power now on Kea Street."
Traffic is reported to be flowing in both directions on Fraser Street.
Earlier, police reported a two-car crash at the Fraser Street/Seventeenth Ave intersection where a pole was struck.
SunLive readers at the scene reported one car crashing into a power pole at the intersction.
"One person sustained minor injuries," says a police spokesperson."
There is a power outage in the area, with PowerCo reporting that power is expected to be fully restored by 7.15pm.

Earlier, 3.10pm: A caller to SunLive says that a vehicle has smashed into a powerpole at the intersection of Fraser Street and Seventeenth Ave.
"It's hit the powerpole and it's really mushed up the front of the car," says the SunLive caller.
"There is a fire truck blocking one lane, and traffic is being diverted down Seventeenth Ave.
"Traffic heading to town can get through but traffic going the other way has to take a detour."
"Police received a report of a two-car crash at the Fraser Street/Seventeenth Ave intersection where a pole was struck," says a police spokesperson.
"One person sustained minor injuries. The power company has been notified of damage to the pole."
PowerCo is reporting a power outage in the area. The power went off at 3.30pm.
Power is expected to be restored by 7.15pm.
