There will be no kerbside rubbish collections this Friday.
Both Tauranga City and Western Bay of Plenty will be delaying the collections until Saturday, April 8.
In the Western Bay, this includes properties in part of Te Puke, Maketu, Paengaroa, Pongakawa and Pukehina, and applies to all collections - landfill, mixed recycling, glass and food scraps. Double check which bins to put out at kerbsidecollective.co.nz/collection-day/
Tauranga City Coucnils says bins should be placed kerbside by 7am Saturday for collection. Collections will run as normal on Easter Monday.
Transfer stations are closed on Good Friday but Te Maunga Transfer Station will be open 9am to 5pm on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, and Maleme Street Transfer Station will be open to commercial account holders on Saturday from 9am to 3pm and Easter Monday from 9am to 5pm.
