Passed away peacefully after a short illness on the 16th of June 2023; aged 81 years.

Most dearly loved husband and soulmate of Eileen for 59 years. Loved and very supportive father of Stephen and Penny (Huntly), Ross and Jo (Timaru), Karen and Phil McConnell (Karaka), and Michelle and Kerry Butler (Cambridge). Loved and proud Pop of his 10 grandchildren and 1 expected great-grandchild. He will be sadly missed by us all.

A service to celebrate Laurie's life will be held in the White Rose Chapel, 75 Cook Street, Hamilton East on Wednesday 21st of June at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be greatly appreciated.
