The stage is set for the ultimate showdown as fans flock to tonight's DHL Super Rugby Pacific Final when the Gallagher Chiefs take on defending champions the Crusaders.
Tickets to the grand final sold out in minutes to eager rugby supporters planning to attend tonight's match at Waikato's FMG Stadium.
"Watching the ticket sales climb so quickly has sent a buzz throughout the Chiefs region and we are excited to be hosting another sold-out game at FMG Stadium Waikato," says Chiefs Rugby Club CEO Simon Graafhuis.
It has been 10 years since the Gallagher Chiefs won a Super Rugby title. After having an outstanding run throughout the season, 17 players have been recently recognised for their form with higher honours, by being named in the All Blacks and All Blacks XV squads earlier this week.
"The atmosphere is electric with the stadium full of Gallagher Chiefs fans, and we have made sure to look after our own to replicate that for this game."
Priority purchasing went to sponsors, season members, key stakeholders and their whānau, honouring their commitment to the Gallagher Chiefs team throughout the seasons.
The difficulty in securing a ticket to this grand final showdown has increased demand, and fans looking to purchase tickets off third-party sellers have been warned to be cautious.
"We want to thank everyone for their support throughout the season and hope we can give our supporters the dream result this weekend."
The DHL Super Rugby Pacific Final kicks off at 7.05pm today, Saturday June 24, at FMG Stadium Waikato.
Fans that missed out on tickets will be able to watch the game live on Sky Sport.
