SunLive readers are reporting that a road is partially blocked in Tauranga following tree debris and branches falling across both lanes.

"There's a very large branch from a tree that's come down on Fraser Street near 14th Avenue," says a SunLive reader.

"Traffic can get around it heading from Tauranga to 15th Ave direction, but this large branch is lying in the middle of the road pretty much slowing down traffic in both directions.

"Police were notified of a tree blocking both lanes on Fraser Street, Tauranga about 2.45pm,' says a police spokesperson.

"There are no reports of injuries."
