To meet the increasing population growth in Pāpāmoa, the Justice of the Peace Association is starting a new service desk for the area.

"[I am] pleased to announce the start-up of an extra Service Desk at the Pāpāmoa Community Centre / Library where JPs can be accessed without an appointment," says Bay of Plenty Justice of the Peace Association Registrar Brian Hamilton.

The service will run from 10am to noon on Saturday mornings commencing on August 5 where a JP will be on duty to serve the public.

"This extra service desk will make three-weekly Service Desks at the Pāpāmoa Community Centre to accommodate the increasing numbers of people requiring our services in the growing Pāpāmoa suburb.

"The public can access JP's in two ways; either through the many Service Desks that operate throughout the Bay of Plenty or can make contact with individual JP's to arrange an appointment usually at their home."

JP's contact information can be accessed via the Royal Federation website: www.justiceofthepeace.org.nz on ‘Find a JP' search engine.
