As result of a Truck Accident. Only son of Heather (née McLennan) and the late Kevin Smith. Grandson to Keith and Janice Smith (Brisbane), and the late Ewen and Joy McLennan (Tirau). Fiancé to Taila, brother and brother-in-law to Nicole and Mat Parnell, Megan and Peter Oomen, fun uncle to Jamie and River. Shane has left many broken hearts with that smile and laugh, his heart was always open giving love to anyone, he will be very sadly missed. A celebration of Shane’s life will be held at The Orchard Church, 20 Macloughlin Drive, Te Puke on Thursday 20 July at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be left at the church.
