Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of Tamika-Lee Pairama, also known as Tamika-Lee Tawha, aged 21, after she was reported missing by her whānau.

"Tamika has not been in touch with whānau for two weeks and there are serious concerns for her welfare," says a police spokesperson.

"She was last seen in the Hamilton area on 11 July, but may also be in the Whakatāne area.

"If you have seen Tamika, or you have information which might help us locate her, please get in touch via 105 and quote file numbers 230722/5181 and 230704/8719.

"Information can also be provided anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111."
