Traffic is reportedly backed up on State Higway 29.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says two vehicles have crashed near the intersection of Omanawa Road.

The caller says emergency services have been called and people should expect delays.

Google's Live Traffic reporting shows traffic is stalled between Omanawa Road and The Lakes roundabout.

A police spokesperson says they responded to reports of a two vehicle crash in that area this morning.

"The road is partially blocked."
