Another dumping of snow is on the way for the Central North Island.
A Tauranga resident currently on holiday in Tongariro says they got a bit of snow yesterday and overnight.
The MetService is expected more to fall this afternoon through to the evening.
According to the latest warning issued, in the 25 hours from 8am today to 9am tomorrow, a few snow flurries may affect the road till early afternoon.
"From around 2 pm to 7 pm 4 to 6 cm of snow may accumulate on the road," says the update from the weather organisation.
"Snow flurries may continue till about mid morning Friday bringing a further 2 to 4 cm of snow."
