Cameron Road, at Greerton Village, will be reduced to one-way tomorrow for tree pruning.
This will affect traffic travelling in the area between 7am and 3pm.
"Contractors will be working on the trees between the northbound lane of Cameron Road and group of shops (Greerton Lotto and Waipuna Hospice Charity Shop)," says a statement from Tauranga City Council.
"There will be a full closure of the northbound lane (heading towards the city) and traffic will be diverted down Chadwick Road, Hynds Road and Kent Street to re-join Cameron Road. Buses will also follow this detour.
"Pedestrian and cyclist access, and access to businesses in the area will be maintained at all times; please follow the directional signage."
Parking will still be available directly outside the shops (near Greerton Lotto and Waipuna Hospice Charity Shop).
The parking under the trees, closest to Cameron Road, will be closed.

This should have been planned for overnight and much less disruption. Cameron road has been a planned debacle for so long . This instance so unnecessary
