Day three of Roller Mills

Bay of Plenty left no doubt of the semi-final aspirations on day three of the 2012 Roller Mills primary rugby tournament being played in Auckland.

Facing King Country, the Bay of Plenty boys came to play to dominate the entire sixty minutes, on the way to running in eleven tries in the 61 nil victory.

Bay of Plenty head coach Cliff Honey says the team eliminated the errors from the previous day to post a comprehensive win.

'The strong Bay pack won the battle up front which allowed the back line to cut loose.”

Halfback Levi Hartley put on another player of the day performance scoring two superb tries, while the injection of pace into the back line from Josh Buckton saw the Bay fullback touch down four tries.

Joe Dinsdale, Quintin Kingi, Liam Hori-Clarke, Zara Sullivan and Jaevyn Mohi scored the other Bay tries.

Cliff says the back line players of Levi Hartley, Flynn Kelly, Quintin Kingi, Jaevyn Mohi and Josh Buckton had stand out games that played a big part in the 61 point victory.
