Bark in the Park is back for 2023, and everyone is invited to join the fun.
This free event, run by the Tauranga City Council Animal Services team, is a family-friendly fun day out for dog owners and their pups.
Acting Animal Services Team Leader Gary Dixon says last year's inaugural event was such a success that it was a no-brainer to bring Bark in the Park back for 2023.
"This event brings the Tauranga dog community together to enjoy a day out at Memorial Park and check out a range of local businesses selling doggie-related items."
People can also win some great prizes thanks to Naturally Pet and Animates Tauranga.
"There were some great costumes on display last year, and we're encouraging dogs and their owners to get creative and come along dressed up in their best party outfits - or even like each other," says Gary.

"We're just really looking forward to connecting with the community, providing education around dog registration and microchipping, and answering any questions they may have."
Food trucks, local dog rescues and more will also be at Bark in the Park, so there is plenty for pups and people to see and do.
Bark in the Park is being held at Memorial Park (Jordan Field) on Saturday, September 30, from 10am to 2pm.
