There are just 10 days left in the 2023 election campaign, which looks to be going down to the wire.

With Labour leader Chris Hipkins stuck in Covid-19 isolation and National's Christopher Luxon unwilling to find room in his schedule, it appeared on Tuesday The Press' leaders debate would not be held this year.

But on Wednesday morning the paper's editor announced it was back - but with a new lineup of leaders from the minor parties.

On the campaign trail, Luxon will be on the West Coast, the Greens' Marama Davidson in Christchurch, Labour deputy Carmel Sepuloni and finance spokesperson Grant Robertson in Wellington, ACT's David Seymour in Waikato, and Hipkins will speak to media from isolation early this afternoon.
