Peacefully and without suffering at the Avenues MetLife care home Tauranga, where Shirley has received loving care for the final chapter of her life. Aged 98 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Ian Elgar and a much loved mother of Lyn and Charlie Griffiths, Julie and Russell Hulbert, Sue and John Cliff and Paula and Arthur Twyford. Loved Nana and Nandi of 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. A lovely soul at rest. As per Shirley’s request a private farewell will be held.
