Emergency services are responding to a house fire near Okere Falls.

"Four trucks were necessary to extinguish the fire at Okere Falls, Rotorua," says FENZ Northern Shift Manager Josh Pennefather.

 “We received a call around 9.20am this morning about a house on fire in Okere falls, Rotorua district. The house was totally involved.

“Four fire trucks attended the emergency - the brigades from Okere Falls, Rotorua, Tauranga, Ngongotaha responded to  the call.”

 Josh says there were no reports of injuries.
