Emergency services are responding to the scene of a cyclist and vehicle crash on Devonport Road.

Police say the crash involving a cyclist and a car happened at the Eleventh Avenue and Devonport Road intersection.

"The cyclist has been transported to hospital by ambulance," says a Tauranga Transport Operations Centre spokesperson.

"The road is now clear."
