Enquiries are underway to determine how a bus has crashed in downtown Tauranga.
"Police received a report of a bus which crashed into a fence on Wharf Street, near Willow Street and Durham Street at about 7am," says a police spokesperson.
"The bus had been parked at a bus stop on Wharf Street for the past few days."
Police say there is no report of injuries, and no road blockages as a result of the crash.
"It appears it [the bus] has run forward and touched the fence," says a Tauranga Transport Operations Centre spokesperson.
"No damage to the bus has occurred.
"The bus has now been recovered by council contractors."
"Enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances," says a police spokesperson.
