Motorists are advised to delay travel or avoid the area.

Update, 3.05pm: Emergency services are at the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Oropi Road and State Highway 29A.
Oropi Road is closed between SH29A and Maleme Street.
A SunLive reader reports that traffic has built up in the area, along SH29A and Oropi Road.
"And also Cameron Road and Maleme Street," says the SunLive reader.
"There are police everywhere."
One person is reported to be injured.

Earlier, 2.09pm: A Tauranga road is closed following a serious crash this afternoon.
Tauranga City Council says due to a motor vehicle accident, Oropi Road is closed.
Police have confirmed a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Oropi Road and State Highway 29A at 1.36 pm.
Police say it looks like both lanes are closed and one person is injured.
The closure is between State Highway 29A and Maleme Street.
People are advised to avoid the area.
