Passed away peacefully on 24 December 2023, in Tauranga after a long illness. Aged 84 years. Much loved husband and best friend of Sonia, married for 61 years. Devoted father of Roger Hardy, Susan and Brent Stark, Carolyn and Glen Armstrong, grandad to Alex, Chris, Elizabeth, Spenser, Ellie, Joe and Billy, and great grandfather to Logan. A private cremation has been held. Grateful thanks to the caring staff at Ward 4B Tauranga Hospital and Radius Althorp Reuben Wing, as well as Dr Marie Hughes, Faith, and Erika from the Haematology department at Tauranga Hospital who provided such dedicated and enduring care and support.
