Emergency services are at the scene of a crash in Bowentown.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says a car and motorcycle crashed about 8pm on Pio Road.

"Police and ambulance at the scene.

"There appears to be only moderate injuries and I believe the car left scene."

A police spokesperson says officers responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Pio Road shortly after 8pm.

"The road is not blocked, and there is no update or report of injury at this stage."
