It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful father, husband and grandad Phil who passed away peacefully at his home in Tauranga surrounded by family. He lost his long battle with cancer at 3pm on Tuesday afternoon, 23rdJanuary2024. Phil, 89, is survived by his beloved wife of over 62 years, Valerie, his 3 children Philippa, Stephanie, and Geoffrey, and his 7 grandchildren scattered through New Zealand and America.

In accordance with the family's wishes, a private service will be held. A "Celebration of Life" event will be held later in the year for all friends and family. Details will be forthcoming. Our family would like to thank Dr Josh, the Tauranga Hospital staff and the amazing Waipuna Hospice nurses and Access Carers for all their incredible attention and care to Phil and Val. In lieu of flowers, donations to Waipuna Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
