Two scooter crashes in Tauranga

Two people have been involved in scooter crashes on Monday afternoon in two separate incidents in central Tauranga and Welcome Bay.

Police received a report of a collision involving a car and a person on a scooter around 3pm.

This collision occurred at the intersection of Tenth Avenue and Devonport Road.

It is unknown at this stage if there are any injuries.

Police received a separate report of a person coming off an electric bike on James Cook Drive in Welcome Bay around 3.30pm.

"One person has been reported to have serious injuries," says a police spokesperson.

Its all about the cash folks and we keep spending like no tomorrow.
Tolls no doubt will say its due to cars.....congestion charges will solve this......we need more empty buses folks.....
