A person is in a serious condition after a three-vehicle crash in Te Puke this afternoon.

Police say a three-vehicle crash reported at 3:20pm at the intersection of No. 3 Road and Jellicoe Street, Te Puke.

"Appears one person was status two [serious condition] and was taken to hospital," says Police.

"Tows were required for 2 of the vehicles.

"It appears as though at least some of the road is blocked."
