Traffic management is currently in place on State Highway 25, between Coromandel and Whitianga.

In an alert released this weekend, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency says stop-go traffic managerment is in place due to under-slip repairs.

"This section of SH25 will be under stop-go traffic management 24/7 with a 30km/h temporary speed restriction in place.

"Plan you journey accordingly, allowing extra time for travel."
