NZTA Waka Kotahi are asking motorists travelling on State Highway 2 in the Waihī to Tauranga corridor to be mindful and aware of the planned road works programme for the week starting March 18, 2024
"While we aim to do this work with as little disruption as possible, we know that roadworks can be inconvenient. Thanks for your patience while we do these important works," says an NZTA spokeserson.
"Please drive carefully through work sites and stick to the temporary speed limits. Our programme is weather dependent, so may be postponed to the next suitable day/night."
Well maintained roads are an important part of keeping people safe.
