Police can now release the name of the man who died following a collision between a car and a tree on Somerville Road, Okoroire, South Waikato.
The crash occurred around 7pm on Wednesday, April 3.
"He was 36-year-old James Burt, of Putaruru, South Waikato," says a police spokesperson.
"Police extend our condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time."
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing.
