Two people have minor injuries after an incident in Tauranga South.

"Police are responding to a two vehicle crash on 15th Ave reported at 1:55pm," says a police spokesperson.

The road is not closed however there does seem to be congestion around the area according to Google Maps.

"Two people sustained minor injuries."
