Emergency services are responding to a vehicle crash in Rotorua.

Police say the northbound lane of Fairy Springs Road is closed from Cochrane Street, while emergency services attend a crash there.

The crash was reported at 6.20pm.

"One person has been injured," says a police spokesperson.

"Diversions are in place, motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays."
