A person is suffering from moderate injuries after being hit by a car in Pyes Pa.

A police spokesperson says the incident involved a car colliding with a pedestrian on Grantleigh Way at 4.05pm.

"The pedestrian has sustained moderate injuries.

"The road remains clear and open."
