One person has died following a crash on Lawrence Street in Te Kuiti on Saturday.
The crash, involving a car and a motorcycle, was reported to Police at 1.10pm.
"The motorcyclist was critically injured in the crash and has since died," says a police spokesperson.
Following the crash, the road was blocked and diversions were in place at the intersections of Lawrence Street, SH30 and Taupiri Street.
"An examination of the crash scene has been completed and the road has reopened."
