Emergency services are responding to a single-vehicle collision on State Highway 29 near Tauriko.
The traffic incident was reported to police at around 4.50pm, Wednesday afternoon.
"The driver appeared to have headed to hospital with a minor head injury," says a police spokesperson.
"No other injuries or road blockage were reported to police.
"Traffic management and towing service have been advised."

That's the second car I have seen hit that Armco Railing. A Mazda crashed there around the same time 2 days earlier. What is it with the inept drivers of Tauranga. I fear for my families every time I hit the road. You're riders not drivers because you sure as hell don't have any control!
