Traffic delays are being reported on Hewletts Road this morning.

A Tauranga City Council spokesperson says a truck has broken down on SH2/Hewletts Road, near Tasman Quay.

"Mount bound traffic is affected and casuing traffic to build-up."

People are advised to expect delays.
